1883-1912 Liberty Head "V" Nickels

1883-1912 Liberty Head Nickels. Liberty Head Nickels were minted at the Philadelphia Mint from 1883-1913, as well as at the Denver and San Francisco Mints in 1912. The coins sold here are minted in Philadelphia and Denver, from 1883-1912. The term "V" nickel originates from the reverse design of these coins, which has a large "V" (Roman numeral 5) in place of the denomination.
